Following training in environmental awareness through our online UK delivered course, learners join our Thailand Eco Education Programme. Our Thailand programme is 7-11 weeks in duration (depending on which intake you join) and offers a comprehensive experience, including: permaculture design training & certification; introduction sessions on Thai culture and history; Thai language lessons; internship placement and homestays with local partners; a professional development course; cultural excursions; and more…

Climate Change
Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Climate Change and Environmental Awareness.

Personal and community support, including 24/7 support for emergencies.
Week 1 & 2: PDC
The first two weeks will consist of a Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC) course, alongside Thai culture & language sessions, located in Buri Ram in Isaan in Northeast Thailand. This will include:

Week 3-7: Internship Placements
Following your PDC, you will put your learnings into practice in an internship placement with one or two of our partner organic farm organisations. You will:
Immerse yourself in a local organic farming community
Learn farming techniques / practices
Learn more broadly about environmental and sustainability issues
Practise Thai and continue cultural learning
Locations will vary and will be rural, however you will always be placed with at least 1 other Green Up participant.
More Information
First intake was 27th May | Second intake was 12th June. A final intake is scheduled for 25th July.
The PDC will be held in a Northeast Thailand (Isaan) area called Buri Ram. Placements will vary in location but will also be in Northeast Thailand.
